Why 11:11?
A number, a signal and a reminder to pay attention.
11 lives throughout FUCK Art because I believe that everything carries meaning. Every encounter, every decision and every moment leaves a trace.
Nature speaks through pattern and mathematics, in spirals, symmetry, rhythm and repetition. None of it feels accidental to me. I do not believe in coincidence. Even this website, with all its images, Emotions and ideas, is built at its core from an endless language of zeros and ones. Mathematics is the language of the universe.
I practice the Buddhism of Nichiren Daishonin, a philosophy rooted in the inseparable relationship between cause and effect. Every thought, word and action becomes a cause, and every cause creates an effect.
FUCK Art is one of mine.
To me, 11:11 is a quiet signal, a moment that asks us to pay attention. It appears when we are present enough to notice the subtle signs life places before us. A reminder to listen inwardly, trust what we find there and have the courage to act upon it.
That is why the Emotional Wheel holds 11 Emotions, expressed through 11 original works, with 11 prints created from each one.
