Why the Emotional Wheel Exists
11 states. One human loop. No map. No instruction for escape.
The Emotional Wheel begins with instinct, with whatever rises first, before reason reshapes it, conditioning softens it, or fear teaches us to hide it.
There is an old idea that every person has three faces: one shown to the world, one revealed to those we love, and a third kept hidden, known only to the self.
The Emotional Wheel was born from that third face.
These 11 Emotions come from lived experience. I have known every one of them. Some arrived quietly; others tore through me. Each has left its mark, and I continue to meet them not with resistance, but with love.
We move through life on an endless Emotional Wheel. However much we heal, learn or change, the Wheel continues to turn. We return to fear, longing, ecstasy, shame and everything that lives between them, not because we have failed, but because we are human.
The purpose is not to escape the Wheel.
It is to recognise where we are when it turns. To enter each Emotion fully, to listen to what it carries, and to feel it without judgement or shame.
The Emotional Wheel gives physical form to what usually remains hidden. It draws the internal world into the light, allowing every Emotion to be witnessed, held and given the space to exist without apology.
Feel it. Name it. Make it physical.
